Industrial Engineering GJU – German Year (DHBW Mosbach – Campus Bad Mergentheim)
Das Deutschlandjahr at DHBW Mosbach!
Join German Industrial Engineering (in German: Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen (WIW)) students for one semester during your German year (Deutschlandjahr) at DHBW Mosbach. Classes take place in a beautiful German castle on our campus in Bad Mergentheim and make up a semester workload. The total number of ECTS depends on the courses agreed by GJU.
Bad Mergentheim is located in the heart of Europe so that you can easily discover Germany and beyond.
We welcome applications from exchange students from our partner university, the German Jordanian University, with intermediate German language skills (German level B2 CEFR).
Semester Dates
There are two possible exchange semesters: either the 5th Semester in Fall or 6th Semester in Spring. Students are only allowed to participate in one of the two semesters:

Courses & Learning Agreements
Students choose courses from the semester course list below. At least 50% of the courses must be in German. Courses and credits must be agreed by GJU and listed on the Learning Agreement.

Housing
Housing is arranged for you by the International Office. If you have any requirements please note this on the application form. We are unable to guarantee meeting all your additional requirements but will do our best to fulfil your needs.

Exchange students:
Please complete the online application and choose either „WIW (Deutschlandjahr GJU) Fall Bad Mergentheim“ or „WIW (Deutschlandjahr GJU) Spring Bad Mergentheim“.
You will need to upload the following documents with your application:
- Signed DHBW Learning Agreement
- Transcript of Records (in English or German)
- Letter of Motivation (in English)
- CV (in English)
- Language Certificate(s) if available
After the application deadline, we will send you further information about the program, the submission of the financial security statement (you can find the template below) and your Admission Letter for your visa application.
